Responsibilities

In keeping with the French Hospital Medical Center health care philosophy the invasive Cardiovascular Technologist is proficient in the preparation of the patient for all procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization and Interventional Radiology and EP Laboratory. The incumbent is a licensed Rad Tech with training and scrub experience and training in both Cath and EP Labs. The Tech is also responsible for the maintenance inventory stocking & sterile preparations of all equipment parts catheter devices & room preparations for each procedure.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • 1 year minimum cath lab and interventional radiology experience with both scrub and monitor

  • Graduate from an approved Radiological Technology Program

  • Advanced training or licensure equivalent to ARRT Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology (CV)

  • Current ARRT license required (ARRT)

  • Current CPR-AHA (CT CPRBLS)

  • Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years current hands-on x-ray and scrub experience within an interventional EP Lab

  • Current ACLS (CT ACLS)

Pay Range

$51.11 - 60.21 /hour
