VCA Bay Area Veterinary Specialty and Emergency located in the heart of the Bay Area is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician with 2 years’ experience as an RVT preferred. You will help direct, administer, and coordinate the daily operations of VCA BAVS Cardiology department while supporting internal and corporate-wide guidelines, goals, and objectives and partnering with our ER/ICU and other specialty departments.   • Providing compassionate and skilled nursing care to critically ill and injured animals

  • Assisting veterinarian with medical procedures, including triage, diagnostics, and treatments

  • Monitoring patients’ vital signs and responding promptly to changes in condition

  • Performing and assisting with electrocardiograms (ECGs), echocardiograms, and other diagnostic tests

  • Administering medications and treatments

  • Maintaining accurate medical records and ensuring compliance with hospital protocols

  • Collaborating with other members of the veterinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients

Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. The pay range for this position is $30 to $38 / hour .
