Pharmacy Intern III

Location: This position will work a hybrid model (3-4 days/week onsite in office). When reporting to the office, the location will be on 411 c/ segarra Sector Bechara Marginal Ave Kennedy San Juan, PR 00936.

The Pharmacy Intern III is for participants of an approved internship program for post-graduate college students. Specific work assignments will vary by department.

How you will make an impact

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Have the fundamental knowledge of how to performed a SWOT analysis.

• Understand the fundamentals of Managed Care.

• Understand the role and responsibilities of the Pharmacy Clinical Unit on Coverage Determinations.

• Teaching, writing and communicative skills.

• Monitor and evaluate the quality of the clinical interventions before and after the development and implementation of the project.

• Evaluation of clinical parameters such as diagnosis, laboratories, medication regimen, among other.

• Measure the impact of the clinical interventions before and after the development and implementation of the project.

• Coordinate weekly touchpoints with mentors and/or SME to present the project progress.

Requirements:

• Must be part of an approved academic course of study, and that course of study must be applicable to the company's operations or the support of those operations.

Preferred qualifications:

• PharmD student who has completed his or her first year or who is an unlicensed Doctor of Pharmacy graduate and who does not obtain a license during his or her internship.
