Intermountain Health Configuration Analyst - Staff in San Juan, Puerto Rico

Job Description:

Coordinates the various activities associated with the implementation and configuration within OpenText Exstream to meet specific business needs. Input configuration changes, analyzes multiple data resources. Research business needs in order to understand software needs and determine specific requirements for software configuration and communicate and works with business users to develop solutions. This position works with both Select Health and Intermountain Health business units to implement and configure processes to meet business needs.

Job Essentials

  1. Thoroughly documents business requirements including design, workflow changes, etc according to business standards. Participates in and identifies process improvements.

  2. Inputs configuration changes. Maintains the integrity of system structures and design by ensuring consistency and accuracy in business and systems applications including supporting tools.

  3. Identifies, tracks, researches, resolves issues and participates as a resource when assigned while continuously following department and organizational processes. Facilitates and communicates effectively on the various issues identified and assigned. Analyzes all data associated with issues and makes business decisions while also following policy.

  4. Accurate maintenance of business configuration. Ability to make critical decisions with little supervision while working with multiple departments. Ensures that business configuration is updated in a timely manner. Acts as a configuration resource for smaller projects.

  5. Develops quality assurance plans and performs quality planning, reviews, and monitoring for own projects and projects managed by others. Designs and runs queries and reports and communicates results as necessary. Organizes, analyzes, and develops communication plans and results through windows applications.

  6. Successfully oversees general program functions and performs all job functions independently.

Minimum Qualifications

One year of relevant experience in a health care or health insurance organization including billing, claims payment or any area requiring regular use of business payment systems, screens and applications.

Demonstrated intermediate level experience with spreadsheets, word processing and database applications.

Demonstrated intermediate expertise in working with the data models.

Demonstrated ability to design and run basic queries. Willing to work outside core business hours to meet business needs.

Preferred Qualifications

Understands proof of concepts and workflows.

Demonstrated analytical, organizational and communication skills. Ability to interpret legal contracts for implementation into the system. Proficient at problem solving.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

$24.29 - $38.26
