Our client is an ambitious, well-funded late-stage biotech startup. Driven by a belief that infectious disease diagnosis should be quick, accurate, and accessible to all, They have developed the world’s first single-use PCR platform that disrupts the traditional model and redefines the way infectious disease is tested and treated.

About the role

This is an entry-level position in support of research and development activities using basic laboratory techniques and equipment.

Essential duties

• Read and understand all assigned QMS documents.

• Assist Scientist with running various experiments.

• Follow GLP guidelines in documenting all work.

• Executes laboratory experiments with a high degree of oversight.

• Compiles data and results. Assists in preparing presentations.

• Asked to be observant when running experiments. May be responsible for limited troubleshooting.

• Follows work instructions and properly documents work forms as per Good Laboratory Practices.

• May be shadowed by new team members when conducting laboratory experiments as needed.

• May provide data for presentation to external partners as needed.

• Keeps work areas clean and organized. Participates in laboratory decontamination efforts.

Other duties as assigned Education and/or experience

• B.S in molecular biology or related field

• Comfortable with pipetting

• College-level exposure to basic laboratory skills

• Hands on experience with PCR is a huge plus
