Our experienced boiler sales and service specialists are always available with the information you need to make informed decisions about your boiler operations, including design, development, purchasing, maintenance and repairs. San Jose Boiler Works is seeking a dedicated Driver/Warehouse Associate to ensure accurate and timely material deliveries for our boiler projects. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining our inventory accuracy, contributing to a safe work environment, and ensuring materials reach project sites efficiently.

Essential Functions:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.

  • 2 years' experience in safe trailer loading and warehouse delivery operations.

  • Proficiency in handling plumbing & sheet metal materials.

  • Forklift operation skills.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., walk, move, bend, and stand frequently.

  • Excellent organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Familiarity with computerized inventory programs.

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment.

  • Utilize trucks for efficient runs to project sites, delivering and picking up materials as required.

  • Receive deliveries, check completeness, provide packing slips to foremen, and store materials appropriately.

  • Fulfill order requests using handheld computers or written/verbal instructions.

  • Assist in daily inventory counts and manage returned materials from job sites.

  • Perform miscellaneous errands promptly, ensuring sufficient inventory levels are maintained.

  • Contribute to building and yard maintenance tasks.

  • Secure yard vehicles, equipment, and gates at the end of each day and manage access, vehicle, and equipment keys.
