EXOS Well-Being & Recreation Manager in San Francisco, California

Job Summary:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We’re seeking a part time Well-Being & Recreation Manager to join our team! As Well-Being & Recreation Manager, you will:

  • Work with our client’s Workplace Experience team to bring virtual sports challenges, events, intramural and recreational sports programs, and other initiatives to life

  • Manage and maintain the upkeep of the client’s exclusive on-demand fitness and wellness channel

  • Teach virtual group fitness classes.

  • Lead ‘pop-up’ specialty group fitness classes and events on-site.

  • Offer one-on-one consultations and motivation towards holistic goal setting.

  • Analyze the success of community initiatives and events and identify how they help attract new users, convert to active users, engage leadership, and contribute to a holistic approach to well-being.

  • Assist in the annual planning of a comprehensive slate of intramural and recreational sports programs, community initiatives, wellness programming, and events.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 1-3 years of experience in Sports Management, Operations, Intramural Activities, Customer Service or related role

  • Experience teaching group fitness classes (both virtual and in-person)

  • AED and First Aid certifications ( Nationally Accredited Certification preferred )

  • A passion for sports and building community

  • Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint or the equivalent

  • The ability to work independently, or as a team, and proactively with minimum supervision

  • Proven ability to build relationships

  • Ambition, diligence, and passion for improving the lives of others

Residents of California, Colorado, New York, and Washington: Per pay transparency requirements, the compensation for this position ranges from $30 to $37/hour. Pay is dependent on factors including site location, specialty, certifications and work experience as well as other business needs. Exos offers a comprehensive benefits package for all full time employees (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements), which includes health insurance, life and disability benefits, 401(k) plan, and paid time off. Additionally, Exos offers a variety of part time benefits (subject to eligibility requirements).
