Aston Carter Accounts Payable Specialist in San Francisco, California
Aston Carter is partnering with a large research university who is looking for a temporary Accounts Payable Specialist in San Francisco.
Logistics:
Hybrid work schedule in SF
3 Month Contract (with potential for extension)
$30/hr.
Responsibilities:
Research, identify, and resolve complex invoice issues related to electronic invoices and unpaid invoices using PeopleSoft or other large ERP system
Monitor and resolve integration issues between systems
Manage high volume of invoices and ensure payment within a timely manner
Process and code invoices and credit memos
Assist with managing AP related documents
Familiarity with sales and use tax requirements and assessing amount on invoices appropriately
Understands and identifies transactions that are subject to 1099 reporting
Provides excellent customer service to departmental users, vendors
Ensuring work queues are managed within Service Level Agreements (SLA).
Create and run departmental reports or operational monitoring, critical daily operation, and ad-hoc reports for analysis
Other AP related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
1-2+ Years of Accounts Payable Experience
Systems proficiency: online Accounts Payable system (e.g, PeopleSoft or other large ERP system)
Proficient in Excel; Experience working with large data sets and reports with accuracy
Excellent written and verbal communication
Experience Level:
Intermediate Level
