Senior Human Resources Generalist (Hybrid)

Tapestry Solutions, a part of Boeing Global Services BGS, is seeking a Senior Human Resources Generalist in San Diego, CA, San Luis Obispo, CA or Maryland Heights, MO . The successful candidate will assist the Head of HR in running the daily functions of Tapestry’s HR department. This role will allow for growth and development in a variety of areas including compensation, alternate work schedules and arrangements to name a few as you will get exposure to many unique and interesting projects, in addition to the standard HR generalist responsibilities.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Administers HR Programs, policies, practices and processes

  • Develops integrated HR initiatives and solutions to advance organizational objectives

  • Leads and conducts employee investigations, tracks and monitors case activities

  • Reviews and tracks compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training

  • Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations and investigations

  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes and new technologies in human resources and employment law

  • Perform other duties as assigned

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 10+ years of experience with Human Resources (HR) related laws, policies, processes, and procedures

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Thorough knowledge of California employment-related laws and regulations

  • SHRM-CP or PHR

  • Proficiency with Workday and ADP Workforce Now

  • Advanced proficiency with Excel

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualification, as well as market and business considerations. Summary base pay range $92,000 - $111,000.
