ManTech Project Manager in San Diego, California

At ManTech International, you’ll support Military and Government personnel through the Navy Continuous Training Environment as part of a team supporting global enterprise Navy operational and training networks across hundreds of shore-based sites and more than 120 ships.

Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Project Manager to join our team onsite in San Diego, California supporting the Navy Continuous Training Environment (NCTE) Program.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Lead and coordinate the scoping, technical requirements gathering, estimating and planning for single or multiple projects or work streams.

  • Coordinate systems development for major applications, define project requirements including information and data needs, business analysis and programming.

  • Coordinate all meetings and interface with business units, staff and service providers

  • Direct and manage project development from beginning to end while defining the project scope, goals and deliverables.

  • Determine if external consultants or contractors should be added to the internal project and/or development team(s) in order to successfully complete the project.

  • Daily Management and coordination of all technical and logistical aspects of a project including timelines, risks, risk mitigation strategies, action items and change requests.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree

  • Minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience

  • Experience with planning and developing project schedule

  • Experience with resource management

  • Experience with managing cost, schedule, and performance

Preferred/ Desired:

  • PMP Certification

  • Prior experience with Navy

Clearance Requirements:

  • Active Secret Security clearance required

Physical Requirements:

  • Up to 25% travel required or as needed.

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.

  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

The projected compensation range for this position is $84,000-$140,100. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, ManTech invests in it’s employees beyond just compensation.
