Rady Children's Hospital San Diego Manager, Specialty Clinics - Endocrinology in San Diego, California

Seeking a manager to oversee Endocrinology, Adolescent & Young Adult Medicine outpatient clinics. This leader will be joining a strong, engaged, high functioning group of managers, and committed hard working teams of staff and providers.

Both specialty clinics divisions provide care with multi-disciplinary models, are leading pioneers in their areas of expertise, and lead/participate in several quality improvement projects.

The position reports directly to an RN Director.

JOB SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of the Director of Specialty Clinics, the Manager of Specialty Clinics manages, coordinates, plans, evaluates, and improves the functions and activities of the Outpatient Specialty Clinic Departments, as assigned. The manager is responsible for facilitating effective and efficient department operations. Supports the overall efficiency and operations of areas assigned by monitoring staff performance and outcomes relative to established goals and initiatives.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Master's Degree

3 Years of Experience

Clinical Licensure (PT, OT, or Audiology) or Board Certification (Athletic Trainer)

Prior supervisory experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

5 Years of Experience

BLS for Health Providers (AHA) Ped Adv Life Support Prov(AHA)

BLS for Healthcare Providers (issued by American Heart Association)

2 years of management/supervisory experience

Bilingual - Spanish

The expected hiring range for this position is $50.43 to $69.35
