About the Role!

As an Inside Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and closing new business opportunities within target market sectors while providing quality service. In this role, you will design of sales solutions that are presented and sold to potential, new, and existing clients.

We are looking for a dedicated and driven Inside Sales Representative who thrives in a quick sales cycle environment. This position will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, working with channel partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing sales.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and build long-term, professional customer relationships with existing, new, and potential clients. Maintain relationships and after-sales support to build confidence in line with the agreed business strategy.

  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails

  • Coordinate sales activity throughout the sales process including qualification, discovery, proposal, pricing presentation, and negotiation.

  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure. Team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals.

  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest.

  • Identify and build a sales pipeline. Explore both existing and new target markets.

  • Present impactful slide decks and value proposition

  • Develop and deliver outstanding sales and tender documents and presentations.

  • Maintain records and relevant contract documents in support of tenders and re-bids for the business.

  • Stay up to date with industry developments, maintaining awareness of competitor activity and market trends.

  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.

What You’ll Need!

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with minimum 5+ years of relevant sales experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

  • Prior inside sales experience with a track record of over-achieving quota

  • Knowledge of lab operations and lab asset management within life sciences companies is highly desired.

  • Expertise in selling to lab stakeholders

  • Excellent writing, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to tailor communication style to the audience and simplify complex technical topics for executive consumption.

  • Strong phone presence and experience dialing multiple cold calls daily.

  • Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.

  • Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.

  • Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret business and legal documents including contracts and request for proposal documents.

  • Requires advanced financial and analytics skills to support commercial models and pricing.

  • Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Inside Sales Specialist position is $90,000 annually and the maximum salary for the position is $110,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
