Responsibilities

A Licensed Vocational Nurse performs nursing duties within the guidelines of hospital policies and procedures under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse and in-direct supervision of the Nurse Manager. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Community Hospital of San Bernardino. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. The employee shall support Community Hospital of San Bernardino strategic plan and the goals and direction of the quality improvement process and activities.

Qualifications

  • One (1) year experience performing acute and/or sub-acute care required.

  • California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license

  • Valid California IV Certification through the Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians (BVNPT) or to be obtained within 90 days of employment and will be contingent on continued employment

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Pay Range

$29.21 - $36.48 /hour
