The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

At WGU, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is: Pay Range: $117,400.00 - $211,300.00

The Senior Manager of Business Transformation of Project Program Management (BTPM) is responsible for the end-to-end successful launch of programs and projects that are typically cross-functional, executive-sponsored, are innovative and transformational in nature, and drive WGU's strategic priorities. This role is responsible for the continuous improvement of project and program management at WGU as well as designing and establishing unified project and program management best practices and standards to be used across the organization, partnering with Ed Tech and other departments to align standards and governance. The Senior Manager will be a sponsor of WGU's Center of Excellence (COE) and Community of Practice (COP) for project management, working closely with departments to insure adoption of standards and practices. They will be responsible for project and program management governance across WGU's distributed project management teams. This individual directly leads a team of highly skilled Project and Program Managers and is responsible for the hiring, development, and performance of this team.

The Senior Manager BTPM position is a highly visible role at WGU which is directly responsible for advancing new programs and new strategies aimed at improving WGU business expansion and student success outcomes. The Senior Manager reports to the Director of Institutional Portfolio Management within the CFO organization. They will be joining the Institutional Portfolio Management (IPM) department comprised of project, program and portfolio managers, risk and change managers, and business process optimization engineers.
