University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah seeks for a full-time Research Associate. Duties: The Research Associate in the Department of Biochemistry will conduct research to elucidate the molecular mechanisms of HIV replication; publish and present results; apply for grants; assist in training and supervision of students and personnel in the lab; and assist the Principal Investigator in project development. Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm, off Saturday and Sunday. Requires PhD in biological sciences, biotechnology, or related field; at least 24 months of postdoctoral employment involving multi-disciplinary research projects that integrate disparate experimental approaches including biochemical reconstitutions, cryoEM, and molecular virology; and peer-reviewed publication demonstrating research interest in biochemical, structural, and cell biological studies.
