Wasatch Electric is seeking a Project Coordinator within our Industrial Department. This position is responsible for the coordination of daily operations and maintenance of various electrical construction projects from start to finish, overseeing project safety, the contract budget, and coordination of customer needs. This position offers growth potential with the possibility of advancement to Project Manager.

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinates and plans all phases of the construction lifecycle from initiation to completion.

• Obtains all necessary regulations and permits.

• Orders necessary supplies, tools, and equipment.

• Makes sure projects are in alignment with agreed-upon plans.

• Communicates with clients and delivers project progress reports.

• Develops and adheres to the budget, timeline, and quality control plan.

• Collaborates with architects, engineers, electricians, and other specialists.

• Writes and submits testing and inspection logs, quality assurance reports, and punch lists.

• Ensures that all local, state, and national building codes and regulations and safety precautions are followed.

• Uses scheduling software to update schedules, track progress, and document project progression.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience with popular construction project management software.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

• Able to build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and construction workers.

• Excel at organization, time-management, problem-solving, and budgeting.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• At least seven years working in the electrical construction industry.

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, business administration, or a related degree

• OR - Journeyman Electrician with foreman experience.
