Oracle Product Mgmt/Strategy Director-ProdDev in Salt Lake City, Utah

Job Description

Drive product strategy and direction for Oracle Health Patient Accounting and Contract Management products, representing customer needs across the Oracle Health portfolio. Align this strategy with the broader OHAI product strategy to deliver innovative solutions as well as integrations into the patient (consumer), clinical staff, and administrative staff experience.

As a Director you will lead and oversee both new product development as well as sustaining the existing OHAI Patient Accounting and Contract Management solutions. In addition, you will enhance the portfolio with solutions from the broader Oracle ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Product Management disciplines, experience with SaaS products and experience with healthcare or financial software solutions. You will need to be a team builder that can drive a tenured group of product managers to their top potential.

This role will be responsible for shaping OHAI’s vision for next generation healthcare experiences.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Augment the product vision and strategy for the Next Generation OHAI portfolio.

  • Partner with healthcare experts across the industry to drive solutions that really make a human-centric difference

  • Utilize a data-driven approach where research outcomes impact the human experience

  • Integrate healthcare solutions into the OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) health cloud platform to deliver market differentiating capability suites that are applicable to the broadest range of channels

  • Develop and manage the roadmaps for the Next Generation Health products and offerings within the business unit

  • Drive innovation within the product team to include unique solutions to address market needs

  • Develop and grow the product governance processes to ensure consistency across the Next Generation Healthcare discipline

  • Partner closely with the engineering team to drive execution and delivery to manage the product release schedule and best implementation methods to ensure successful adoption by customers

  • Maintain a culture of continuous improvement with a focus on delivering a best-in-class solution.

  • Maintain a culture of innovation, market competitiveness, customer centricity and financial performance.

  • Balance product quality requirements with time to market to support revenue goals

  • Lead, mentor and educate team members who think innovatively, use data to back their investment decisions, communicate effectively both internally and externally, and have a strong focus and track record for execution.

PREFERRED SKLLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 10+ years’ progressively increasing product management responsibilities

  • Understanding of challenges facing patients, providers, payers and public health officials addressable by data driven solutions

  • Strong product knowledge and development of successful strategies in SaaS solutions

  • Strong experience managing full life-cycle management of software – review market analysis/needs, translation to product requirements and finally help manage the build and release of the software.

  • Experience in managing multiple products across numerous clients, with high profile client interaction.

  • Exceptional messaging skills in both written/oral/presentation communication skills.

  • Proven experience achieving KPIs set for product and industry growth

  • Leadership in a high-performance environment.

  • Combine discipline, entrepreneurship, collaboration and deep knowledge of the end-to-end software development life cycle

  • Experience of agile product development principles

  • Proven experience managing remote product teams

  • Presenting product to an audience, in meetings, to stakeholders, 1-1.

  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural, global environment

  • Conceptual and strategic thinking.

  • Objection handling and conflict resolution.

US: Hiring Range: from $130,000 to $291,900 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
