As a Glazier/Field Special Projects Coordinator, oversees projects from preconstruction though installation. They will review project drawings for completeness, fabrication methodology, and constructability. Communicate/coordinate and document the project with Project team(s) including materials, mock-up, fabrication, packaging, shipping, erection, testing and documenting corrective actions when issues arise. Duties/Responsibilities of the Job

• Oversee the Field operations on job site including system recommendations, scheduling and coordinating with Project Management, installation of product and reconcile punch list items.

• Coordinate with project management and estimating for planning and implementation of equipment and logistical planning for project

• Coordinate with project management and foreman to review drawings, review contract documents confirm schedule, identify manpower needs and confirm equipment plan.

• Assist with product design and implementation for project.

• Assist with the development of project shop drawings (plans, elevations, sections, embeds, details, etc.)

• Review incoming projects and accept estimating assignments.

• Prepare accurate, thorough, and timely take off’s, RFPs and estimates.

• Manage multiple Projects concurrently.

• Prepare /write technical proposals and pricing schedules.

Requirements of the job:

• Minimum of five years of supervision in the glazing commercial glazing, building façade, panel industry.

• Strong understand of building construction methods and detailing.

• Able to utilize general and advanced math skills, including algebra, trigonometry, and geometry.

• Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal relations skills

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, project management, or related field or the equivalent in work experience

• Able to use MS, project, Procore, MS Office and or similar construction software applications.
