Job Descripton:

The PCB Librarian job duties will include but are not limited to the following:

• Create and maintain schematic symbols for Electrical Computer Aided Design (ECAD) library from component vendor data sheets.

• Create and maintain solder pad footprints for ECAD library from component vendor data sheets and IPC standards.

• Create and maintain 3D Models of ECAD library parts for use by Mechanical Engineering.

• Ensure that all requirements for manufacturing and assembly are met.

• Experience in ECAD libraries, or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience in ECAD libraries is desired. Associate degree or certificate in Graphics Technology or Engineering Technology is desired but not required.

• Competent skills and experience with ECAD software applications and related PC equipment. Specific experience with Mentor Xpedition®, Siemens NX, and Siemens Teamcenter software is desirable.

• Competent knowledge and experience of electrical components, component vendor data sheets, and electrical schematics is desirable.

• General knowledge of industry standards such as IPC for design and ASME/ANSI for documentation is desired.

  Basic Qualifications:

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
