The Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Business Operations team is seeking a Business Operations Manager (level K) for the team in Salt Lake City and West Jordan, UT.

This leadership role is responsible for growing the Business Operations team while supporting various projects/initiatives across BSL. Examples include but are not limited to, business studies, leading plans through the program lifecycle, facilitating and integrating Business Unit strategies, and developing business and technical strategies, goals, and objectives.

An ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, critical thinking skills, an extensive working network, and prior experience working cross-functionally across Boeing Functions and Teams.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develops business goals and establishes infrastructure to achieve these goals.

  • Leads employees performing business management activities in the area of Business Operations.

  • Develops and implements organizational plans, policies and procedures.

  • Guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals, and objectives.

  • Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers, and leads process improvements.

  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.

  • Monitors business unit work statement to support planning and execution

  • Manages employees performing business management activities in the area of Business Operations.

  • Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.

  • Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.

  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.

  • Ensures work statement compliance.

  • Ensures consistent management system processes and tools are used. Manages, develops and motivates employees.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3 + years of experience in Fabrication, Program Operations, Supply Chain Operations, and/or Program management

  • 3 + years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal role

  • 3+ years of experience leading project management processes, continuous improvement, and tool development activities

  • 3+ years of experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with stakeholders (i.e. customers, suppliers, peers, and/or partners)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • Experience in developing and implementing process improvements

  • Experience developing and delivering presentations to senior leadership

  • Experience managing projects and using standard project management tools

  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adjust to the new challenges of the day

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $113,000 - $121,000
