Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Reviewing, verifying, and processing invoices and coding payment documents.

2. Conducting regular internal audits and statistical analysis.

3. Processing transactions and performing accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording, entries, and reconciliations.

4. Assisting with a variety of administrative tasks within the finance department, such as data entry, preparing accounting reports, and resolving discrepancies.

5. Managing payment files and processing systems to ensure records are well maintained, accurate and current.

6. Compiling, maintaining, and monitoring budgets, as well as comparing them to actual spends.

7. Adhering to organizational policies and procedures and federal, state, and local requirements.

   Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree in finance or accounting or similar experience.

2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on Excel.

3. Knowledge of general finance and bookkeeping procedures, along with understanding of accounting software systems.

4. Strong time management, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

5. High attention to detail and ability to spot numerical errors.

6. Ability to multitask and prioritize workloads.

7. Strong analytical skills and an ability to identify trends and anomalies.
