Aston Carter Processing Sales Specialist in Salem, Oregon

Description:

This position will be working between customers and manufacturing in order to produce customer's specific order. Provide estimates to the sales department for the material usage and the processing time for the sales department’s use in preparing a customer quote Develop a completed customer quote and provide the quote to the customer Write, and release to production, processing sales orders arising from quotes Interpret and understand customer-supplied drawings and, using CAD software, translate those drawings into flat patterns Create usable CAD drawings starting from customer-supplied sketches or descriptions Recommend or select materials in the absence of a customer-defined specification. Make an appropriate choice of processing machinery, for example laser vs. plasma cutting, in light of the material and customer-required dimensions, finishes
