Job Description

We are seeking a diligent Engineering Technician to join a team of 9 Mechanical Engineers and Technicians. This candidate will be responsible for conducting a variety of test requests, including material compatibility and chemical reactions while following a pre-existing standard operating procedure. The role involves hands-on tasks such as building test structures, cycling hinges, and performing wiring for data collection sensors. Initially, this person will execute tests designed by senior engineers, with the opportunity to designing and overseeing the entire testing process on their own, from execution to data analysis and reporting. This role is completely on-site (with occasionally work-from-home exceptions) and has flexible work hours between 6am-6pm every day without exceeding the company's 40-hour work week limit.

Skills and Requirements

• Mechanical Engineering degree or Engineer Technologies degree (or related background such as degrees in physics, chemical engineering, and aerospace engineering)

• Excel experience

• Microsoft suite knowledge

• Great written skills - Mini Tab experience

• Wiring experience (at home wiring experience -know how to strip wires & add connections)

• Plumbing experience (MPT fittings)

• Mechanical engineering internships or related experience

• Lab space testing experience null
