Description
We are offering a 3-4 month contract employment opportunity for a Business Analyst in Saint Paul, Minnesota. This role is situated in the tech industry and will focus on leading the implementation of a new grants management software solution. The Business Analyst will be expected to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and have a strong understanding of grants processes, business analysis techniques, and software implementation.
Responsibilities:
• Engage with key stakeholders within the organization to gather their requirements and understand their needs related to grants management.
• Document detailed functional and non-functional requirements for the grants management software, including features, integrations, and reporting capabilities.
• Develop a comprehensive Request for Proposal (RFP) that outlines the organization's needs and expectations for the grants management software solution.
• Collaborate with finance to establish a budget for the software implementation and ongoing maintenance.
• Analyze the current grants processes and design new or improved workflows to optimize efficiency and compliance.
• Assist in the selection and implementation of a suitable grants management software solution, working closely with IT and vendors to ensure a smooth process.
• Plan and oversee the migration of existing grant data into the new system.
• Develop training materials and provide support to end-users as they adopt the new software.
• Establish reporting and analytics capabilities to track grant performance, compliance, and funding utilization.
Skills required include Gap Analysis, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Requirements Gathering, Requirement Analysis, Software Implementations, Vendor Selection, Government Grants, Government Programs, Data Analysis Tools, and Business software.

• Familiarity with Government Grants and Government Programs
• Proficiency in Data Analysis Tools

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Excellent attention to detail
