JOB DESCRIPTION: We are seeking a skilled and responsible CDL Driver to join our team. The primary responsibility of the Log Truck Driver is to transport logs from the forest to the mill, ensuring that all deliveries are made safely and on time. *The position will be based in the St. Helens area and will require LOCAL HAULS ONLY.* **Willing to train individuals on log hauling who have prior trucking experience** RESPONSIBILITIES: Operate and drive trucks safely to transport logs to the mill. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure that trucks are in good condition. Follow all traffic regulations and adhere to all company policies and procedures. Maintain accurate logs of working hours and vehicle maintenance. Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed and submitted on time. Perform basic maintenance tasks such as checking oil levels and tire pressure. Perform physical tasks such as loading and unloading trucks. Communicate effectively with dispatch, other drivers, and customers. Adhere to all safety standards and protocols. QUALIFICATIONS: Class A commercial driver\'s license (CDL) with 4+ years of driving experience. Willingness to learn and train. Works independently and with a team. Pre-Employment Drug Screening and Background and DMV Records Check required. COMPENSATION: \$21-25 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
