Job Description

A Fortune 50 Client within the global manufacturing of luxury leather goods space is searching for an IT Infrastructure and Network Engineer to join their team in Napa Valley. The integration and acquisition of the client's winery infrastructure project are nearing completion, and they are requiring the assistance of an individual to manage and maintain their system. This individual will facilitate knowledge transfer across various teams, ensuring that everyone is well-informed about the implemented changes. This individual must have a comprehensive understanding and be responsible for ensuring the network and infrastructure remain operational. Their role involves supporting the overall IT infrastructure, conducting equipment and cable reviews, implementing minor enhancements and promptly addressing any network issues. This individual will be responsible for effective communication, efficient reporting and translating business users' issues to the IT team.

Skills and Requirements

• Prior professional experience in the wine industry

• 7+ years of experience in systems and networking engineering

• Proficient with Cisco Meraki + switchers, routers and WAP and hands-on experience with monitoring and troubleshooting

• Wireless access point = WAP

• They need to know how to monitor / fix issues

• Proficiency working in an Azure environment

• Experience with Office 365/Windows Server Administration

• Knowledge of IT/OT environment and its automation via network and technologies, such as, SCADA

• Prior project management, project coordinator or business analyst work experience

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross functionally between the technical and business user departments * Prior experience with Vmware vSphere

• Project management training such as Prince 2 / Agile null
