Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Principal Technical Services Project Management / Sr. Principal Technical Services Project Management . This position is located in Roy, UT and supports the Ground Subsystems Support Contract (ICBM Sustainment). This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

What You'll Get To Do

The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the operational aspects of ongoing and future projects, and providing general support to the IPT as time allows.

Specific work scope includes but is not limited to:

  • Identify, orchestrate, coordinate and control program management activities.

  • Initiate, develop, integrate and execute cost and schedule baselines, as well as technical performance baselines that meet program contractual requirements.

  • Proposal development including managing the process, writing proposal responses, coordinating BOE tasking and development, developing proposal schedules and program notional schedules, working w/ contracts and pricing, etc.

  • Develop content and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects, utilizing various tools including PowerPoint, SharePoint and Excel.

  • Support the Risk, Issue and Opportunity process.

  • Drive Action Item adjudication with the program team and the Customer, including adjudication of comments from Customer required external entities.

  • Lead Contractual Deliverable (CDRL) commitment and ensure on-time/early delivery to customer.

  • Understand the critical path, and work to alleviate roadblocks and create schedule float.

  • Represent the program/project at internal business unit reviews, PMRs, financial reviews, etc.

  • Lead development of briefings to support internal and external meetings and milestones.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

Job Qualifications

You'll Bring These Qualifications

Required for Principal Technical Services Project Management :

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study from an accredited university and 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree, 3 years with a Masters, 2 years with a PhD, or 4 additional years in lieu of a degree

Required for Sr. Principal Technical Services Project Management

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study from an accredited university and 9 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree, 7 years with a Masters, 4 years with a PhD, or 4 additional years in lieu of a degree

Required for Both Levels:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active DoD Top-Secret Clearance with an in-scope investigation date within the last 6 years

  • Must be eligible to obtain Enhanced Security Clearances (SAP) within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs

  • 5 years ICBM or related experience

  • 2 years DoD-specific program management experience

  • CAM Trained

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with MES system for manufacturing and materials handling

  • Familiarity with procurement processes

  • Familiarity with SAP for materials management

  • Familiarity with Codes and Codes-related hardware/systems

  • Experience with proposals, proposal preparation and management

Salary Range: $92,600 - $139,000

Salary Range 2: $114,900 - $172,300

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
