Job Details The primary purpose of this position is to perform concurrent and retrospective chart reviews to identify issues of concern which are forwarded to the appropriate Medical Staff Performance Improvement Committees, Risk Management and/or Administration. The PI Coordinator represents the Performance Improvement Department at all Departmental Medical Staff PI Committees and other Performance Improvement committee meetings, as appropriate. Graduate of an accredited Nursing School or College Current New York State R.N. License required, BSN –Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Health preferred. Minimum 3-5 years relevant clinical medical-surgical or critical care experience. Two to three years Utilization/Care Management or Performance Improvement, experience preferred in an acute hospital or related managed care setting. Required to pursue ongoing education, certification and self-development to remain current with industry standards and business objectives related to Performance Improvement as appropriate. Salary Range USD $100,000.00 - USD $155,000.00 /Yr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
