Job Details The Finance Department is seeking a self-starting individual with experience in accounting to perform assigned financial tasks, complete assigned analysis and provide accurate and timely information to the VP of Finance. The position is part of the St. Francis Finance team with an emphasis on capital analysis and construction planning and monitoring. You will work closely with the VP of Construction and the construction team. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee capital portion of Strata budget process for SFH to include the following: Work with Strata Team to implement any changes needed Hold refresher courses for SFH staff and new employees who will be inputting capital requests Attend meetings with VP's to assist in right-sizing their departmental requests to reach the capital target Review large equipment requests to ensure that necessary construction/con costs have been considered in pricing Reporting to management on capital expenditure Maintain ongoing log and analysis of capital purchases for SFH, including reconciling to general ledger Assist Departments with any capital questions that arise/ help them prepare forms, if necessary. Attend pencil requisition meetings for ongoing construction projects Review construction/architectural invoices (G703) for accuracy prior to payment Assist Construction Dept. with feasibility studies or any finance related issues that arise Assist as needed with operating/capital budgets Assist in preparation of schedules for the monthly financial meeting and other ad hoc requests for special projects or new initiatives. Assist with analysis of Specific Purpose Funds and Foundation accounts to identify appropriate use of donor funds Assist VP of Finance with any tasks or assignments that transpire EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in accounting/Finance 3-5 years of accounting experience (healthcare preferred) Strong excel knowledge mandatory Strong analytical and problem solving ability Experience in construction finance a plus Excellent communication skills required Ability to manage deadlines and changes to a project Willingness to learn essential Position may require overtime for certain period of the year Salary Range USD $115,000.00 - USD $130,000.00 /Hr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
