The St. Francis hospital department of Cardiothoracic Surgery is currently looking for an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to be a part of a multidisciplinary team providing advanced, high quality healthcare in both outpatient and inpatient setting. Responsibilities will include: The Advanced Practice Provider will provide diagnosis, care and treatment of patients in a hospital and practice setting Communicating daily with patients using a mobile app (Secure MD™) to assist in postoperative management and promoting benefits of enrollment in this solution Assist in quality projects and length of stay initiatives Evaluate, perform H & P order testing and provide test results Rounding on patients - Pre and Post procedural Educating patients and family members Requirements: Acute Care & Practice Setting experience preferred Cardiothoracic Surgery/Critical Care experience Bachelor of Science, Masters preferred in an AMA approved PA or NP program NYS Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner License or Limited Permit PA or NP Board Certification BLS and ACLS certification Salary Range USD $63.38 - USD $72.00 /Yr.
