HARIBO of America Sr. Supply Planner in Rosemont, Illinois

Reporting to the Sr. Supply Planning Manager, the Senior Supply Planner will be responsible for the inventory management and supply planning for HARIBO of America. This includes maintaining stock levels within requested ranges, managing the freshness of product in the warehouse, provide inventory analysis, forecast, and plan purchases with production sites. The Senior Supply Planner will continuously analyze demand forecast accuracy, inventory levels, sales trends, vendor performance, supply constraints and capacity limitations to avoid overstocks and out of stock scenarios.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Senior Supply planning manager is complete end to end supply planning with international partners and domestic production

  • Responsible for Supply Review output as part of IBP process with clear communication of capacity plans, supply chain risk / opt, action plans and constrained forecast output for Finance

  • Responsible for managing Target stock needed to achieve Demand through various analysis including standard deviation, lead time across multiple warehouses

  • Inventory balancing needed to achieve customer service needed

  • Accountable for improved CFR and root cause analysis

  • Highly proficient in SAP with ability to navigate, lead, and execute APO capacity planning and new item setup

  • Weekly communication with international partners on production adherence and mitigation plans

  • Clear communication to internal stakeholders around ability to meet opportunities needed to achieve sales goals

  • Active member in freshness meetings with root cause analysis on drivers

  • Partner to Demand Planning team in weekly analysis of forecast deviations and risk mitigation plans / strategy

  • Additional duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Inventory/Operations Management, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.                                                                                                                        

  • Minimum of five years working in Supply Chain.

  • Minimum of two years in Supply and Inventory Planning experience.

  • Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s, etc.)

    Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience with SAP ERP system

  • Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry experience

  • Demonstrated business and financial acumen.

  • Result-driven with excellent judgment, interpersonal, verbal and written communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.

  • Requires teamwork ability; collaborate and communicate effectively with all associates.

  • Ability to effectively address complex issues in an effective and efficient manner, and with complete discretion

  • Ability to be entrusted with sensitive and confidential information.

  • Strong knowledge of supply chain concepts, processes, and best practices
