Position Summary:

The Sr MDM Analyst will be responsible for analysis and reporting required to support the company’s master data needs. The Sr MDM Analyst will conduct data analyses required to optimize vendor, customer, item, and other master data processes including those related to converting master data to other systems. The analyst will be responsible for gathering and validating all necessary data. As such, the analyst will need to foster relationships throughout the organization to gather data and an understanding of what the data means to the business.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Support data strategy, generate metrics and build dashboards.

  • Handle and mine large, diverse data sets, working with both structured and unstructured data.

  • Interpretation of analysis to tell a straightforward and compelling business story and communicate this effectively to a wide audience with different business interests and skill sets.

  • Identify trends and patterns within Master Data that will help leadership make better business decisions. Perform root cause analysis and partner with various business units and other functional areas to drive proactive solutions through process and technology solutions.

  • Constantly building effective working relationships and developing data-fueled solutions, which helps the business move closer to overall objectives.

  • Participate in interviewing and training of new team members.

  • Lead and/or participate in business initiatives and special projects.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Data Science, Economics, Statistics, Applied Math, or any other related field

• 5+ years of experience, preferably as a Data Analyst in a fast-paced and dynamic business setting

• Possess exceptional computer skills and demonstrate proficiency in using Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SQL, Power BI, Snowflake

• Previous experience in report and dashboard creation, and maintenance

• Ability to identify the patterns in data, which includes a good understanding of anomaly and pattern detection

• Ability to work with large sets of data and establish scalable and accurate analytics systems across several applications

• Will consider qualified candidates in close proximity to Richmond, VA or La Crosse, WI. Available to report into one of the local offices.
