What you will Do:

Raytheon is seeking a Principle Procurement Specialist to perform duties in support of the Air & Space Defense Systems strategic business unit. This position requires the management of procurements in support of multiple internal customers enterprise-wide. Candidate will occasionally be asked to serve as the focal point for interface and communication between the programs and suppliers. You will be responsible for source selection and quotation activities, selecting qualified suppliers, assisting in supplier negotiations (price, schedules and terms & conditions, to include software licenses), ensuring all FAR/DFAR and compliance requirements are met and supplier management.

​Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience

Experience analyzing supplier quotes and pricing

Experience with SAP

General understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS)

The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance."

Qualifications We Prefer

Basic understanding of the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)

Experience with commodity/supplier management

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
