Job Description

Department Description: The Global Finance Operations (GFO) team is responsible for leading Quoting, Contracting, Order Management, Invoicing, and Compensation services. We provide high quality and effective service that ensures revenue to Oracle is enhanced while protecting our legal and commercial interests. The GFO Budget & Analytics team is one of the operational teams providing support to this organization. This includes analyzing and publishing key performance indicators (KPI’s), operational reporting, redefining data into insights, & budgetary support. The team provides accurate and timely services to help this global organization run more effectively and enable data driven operations.

Job Description: Design and analyze KPI/operational reporting & modeling for the Global Finance Operations (GFO) with a focus on innovation, simplification, standardization & automation. This includes issuance and analysis of KPI results, quarterly budget and operations review packages, all in support of enabling an efficient, effective & data driven organization. Implement new, innovative reporting and expand use of data visualization for executive reporting.

Responsibilities

Knowledge and Experience Essential

  • Strong understanding of Data, Analytics & Reporting principles, ground breaking technologies, standard methodologies and market trends

  • Ability to distill customer requests and market needs into an innovative product vision, roadmap and set of themes

  • Work with globally distributed, remote, and cross-functional teams.

  • Ability to transform data into relevant information/recommendations that demonstrates value within the organization, promotes operational efficiencies, and inspires changes in behavior both inside and outside of the organization

  • Ability to effectively engage and determine needs and expectations of collaborators and business leaders at varying levels

  • Clarity of verbal and written communication to unambiguously define goals and plans

  • Ability to lead multiple parallel initiatives and partners

  • Confident making decisions with incomplete information, and able to navigate ambiguity.

  • High degree of organization and effective prioritization skills, providing diligence and attention to detail

  • Ability to engage and communicate effectively with all levels of management

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision on multiple concurrent projects

Qualifications & Previous Experience

  • Candidate should have minimum of 6 to 10 years of overall work experience and at least 3-4 years of BI reporting & operations experience

  • Experience in a financial role is a plus

  • Experience with Oracle DV is a plus

  • Should have experience is handling executive operations reporting tasks

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to gather and analyze data, identify and interpret trends, telling a story with the data

  • Should have strong verbal & written communication

  • Strong organizational and effective prioritization skills, providing diligence and attention to detail

  • Advanced and confirmed Excel, PowerPoint, data visualization (Oracle DV, Power BI, Tableau), and data blending skills is required

Preference will be given to candidates who have deep familiarity with Oracle reporting and DV tools.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range: from $27.79 to $60.63 per hour; from $57,800 to $126,100 per annum. May be eligible for equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
