Job Summary

As the Site Technician you will be responsible to assess and maintain Government Facilities Related Control System equipment. You will need a deep understanding of HVAC controls, fire systems, electronic security systems, generator controls and other associated subsystems (Facility Related Control Systems or FRCS). Knowledge of Siemens control systems is a plus. You will also be required to obtain a CST (Construction Supervisory Technician) for escorting personnel within cleared US Government facilities. You will coordinate with the Site Supervisor for daily tasks, tail gate functions, safety matters and quality control. You may also be required to implement the SGT safety program for the project. You will work closely with other SGT team members, including Safety Leads, Quality Leads and other site technicians.

Responsibilities

•Perform installation and maintenance of FRCS equipment.

•Coordinate work with subcontractors and ensure they implement safe working practices.

•Dual hat as SSHO (Site Safety and Health Officer) or L2-L3 competent person as required.

•Maintain good communications with US Government representatives and escalate any issues to the Program Manager, UMCS

•Ensure SGT follows quality and safety programs per contractual and company requirements.

•Provide weekly reporting to SGT management and US Government Customers

•Address and resolve CEHNC customer/ client satisfaction, needs, and issues by leading the on-site team activities.

Required Qualifications

•Current TS/SCI clearance

•OSHA 30 Certification and First Aid CPR

•Must live and work in South Korea 100% of time on-project

•Minimum five (5) years of technical experience in Facilities related control systems.

•Minimum five (5) years of experience working with federal customers.

•Project implement skills, with proven ability to perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities on time, in budget with the right quality.

•Knowledge of and skills performing technical assessments and corrective actions

•Familiarity with the Army Corps of Engineers work process

•Familiarity with working in a secure environment, e.g., SCIFs

•Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

•Experience coaching and mentoring employees to increase project success, productivity and results.

Preferred Qualifications

•Proficiency in MS Office Suite including MS Project

•Ability to learn SGT proprietary software tools.

•Must be accountable and adaptable, with the ability to handle a frequent changing environment and take responsibility for ones work.

•Excellent decision making, delegation, and negotiation skills.

•Ability to maintain and manage strong working relationship with current and prospective clients and within the Siemens organization.

•Much be proactive and the ability to take initiative when needed.

•Ability to think and solve problems on the spot

Security Clearance

•Active TS/SCI Security Clearance

•Must be U.S. citizen and have the ability to obtain a federal government security clearance
