SOS International LLC Mid-Level Special Security Representative (OCONUS) in Reston, Virginia

Overview

* This position is contingent upon contract award *

SOS is currently seeking a Mid-Level Special Security Representative supporting the coordination, planning, and execution of intelligence collection operations, exploitation, production, dissemination, and analytic support in coordination with other entities and agencies supporting deployed forces in the Middle East.

Essential Job Duties

  • This role will include, but is not limited to, personnel security management including adjudication of clearances for contract personnel and clearance applications, as well as the security policies, procedures, and requirements stipulated Part 117 of Title 32, Code of Federal Regulation (CFR), formerly known as the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) (DoD Directive 5220.22-M).

  • Ensuring proper level of security clearance is held by contractors for the SCIF(s) and/or technology they utilize in their role.

Minimum Requirements

  • Active in scope TS/SCI clearance.

  • At least 4 years of experience in compartmented programs in DoD/IC.

  • Ability to work with customers and provide special security

  • Solid and varied experience in planning/accrediting facilities IAW DCID 1/12 standard OR ICD 705.

  • Thorough familiarity with all security clearance:

  • Working knowledge of security policies and procedures to include

  • Part 117 of Title 32, Code of Federal Regulation (CFR), formerly known as the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) (DoD Directive 5220.22-M), and policies for physical, personnel, operational, industrial, automation, and information security.

  • Relevant ICDs, DoD policies, and the DIA M-1 Manual

  • Executive Order (EO) 13526

  • DoD Directive 5200.01, Volumes 1-4

  • DoD Directive 5101.21, Volumes 1-3

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate Degree.

  • 4 years’ experience in providing security training or security services.

  • Deployed experience in Iraq, Syria, or Afghanistan.

  • CDSE Certificate in Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC).

Work Environment

  • Living and working conditions at the assignment location could be remote and uncomfortable.

  • Long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.

  • Personnel should be aware of moving on short notice and under adverse conditions.
