Job Summary and Qualifications

The Anesthesia Tech is responsible to support patient care activities and directly assist Anesthesia personnel as directed.

· You will assist with room set up, stocking supplies, assisting with patient positioning, cleaning scopes and assembling supplies or equipment for each procedure.

· You will also trouble-shoot equipment and any other activity to increase productivity in the department.

· Consider age-related factors in care of patients ranging from infants to geriatrics and applies the knowledge appropriately in accordance with standards and departmental policies and procedures.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• One year’ experience as an Anesthesia Tech required

• Computer experience preferred.

• Ability to maintain a mature, professional manner and demonstrate sound judgement when dealing with physicians, clinical staff, patients and families, plus all other hospital personnel.
