PACCAR Inc. Manager of Financial Analysis Job in Renton, Washington

Requisition Summary This position leads several important activities for Worldwide and North America PACCAR Parts, including responsibility for the forecasting process, monthly compiling / reporting / analyzing forecast-to-actual variances, and supervision of one direct report. Additionally, this position performs and/or assists with internal control reviews and Sarbanes-Oxley documentation. This position requires significant interaction with PACCAR Parts Leadership team as well as Worldwide and regional Parts controllers. This position reports to the North America Division Controller. Job Functions / Responsibilities * Prepare timely, accurate and meaningful financial reports and analyses including preparation of the monthly financial forecast with a constant focus on improving forecasting methodology, including presenting results to Operations Controller and PACCAR Parts Leadership group. * Prepare Worldwide reporting for PACCAR Parts and monthly financial presentations. * Responsible for supervising, mentoring and motivating one direct report. * Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses for Worldwide and North America Division Controllers and other management team members. * Perform month-end duties focused on comparing actuals to forecast, inclusive of FAS 133 Canadian hedging. * Analyze complex transactions and recommend appropriate US GAAP treatment. * Maintain effective communication among other Accounting groups as well as with business partners outside of Controller organization. * Participate in SOX / ICAP audits and other internal control activities as assigned. * Support internal and external audit requests. * Participate in ad-hoc requests and/or special projects as assigned.
