Providence is calling a Director, Finance who will: Be responsible for the financial oversight of assigned ministries, including: Monitoring financial performance Variance reporting Supporting the achievement of productivity and supply chain targets Participating in ministry level management meetings Serve as a key liaison to accounts payable and payroll process, in support of the managers and senior leaders throughout the ministries Assist in facilitation of capital projects as prioritized and approved through regional and system processes Assist with development of ministry budgets Provide assistance as needed to the ministry senior management team and departmental leaders as they work to achieve annual and long term strategies Be Responsible for: Development and management of dashboards Achievement of internal audit recommendations Leading special projects as assigned for both the ministry and the region Review of monthly financial statements Partnership with the PSJH accounting team to accurately reflect economics representative of operational and clinical services Please note the following important details regarding this position: This role is an in-office position and will report into the office daily as scheduled This role requires for you to be located within a commutable distance of our office location listed below: Texas: Lubbock Work Schedule: Exempt Work Week: Monday - Friday Work Shift: Days Providence is open to consider applicants from other states outside of Texas, please note that an application outside of Lubbock Texas, will be required to relocate within one month of an established start date Required qualifications for this position include: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or another related field of study 8+ years of experience within a leadership role 10+ years of closely related work experience (Ex. Accounting, Finance, Healthcare, Compensation) Preferred qualifications for this position include: Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration Certified Public Accountant (CPA) HFMA or FACHE Why Join Providence? The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
