[The Network Administrator is responsible for effective provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware, software and related IT infrastructure. This individual ensures the effective, efficient, delivery of systems across the organization- from backups and troubleshooting to system upgrades, hardware configuration, and strategic recommendations.

  • Participate in the management and deployment of the physical, virtual, and cloud server environments, as well as management and configuration of enterprise systems and applications.
  • Review and apply operating and third party patch servers/systems on a regular basis.
  • Reliability to schedule, perform, and monitor system backups and, as necessary, perform data recovery. Including all servers and applications.
  • Installs, configures, troubleshoots, and updates all necessary hardware (e.g. workstations, printers, servers) and software providing support for system users.
  • Understands security best practices in server configuration, tool development, and access controls.
  • Responsible for Microsoft 2016-2022 environment, including Exchange
  • Track SSL Certificates and renew prior to expiration.
  • Work to define and enhance IT policies and processes across all locations.
  • Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
  • Repair and recover from hardware or software failures. Coordinate and communicate with those impacted.
  • Monitor and respond to systems outages as required. May require working non-standard work schedule to support.

[Requirements:

[Bachelor (4-year) degree with a technical major; or previous System Administration equivalent experience, preferably 5+ years. [Proficient in Microsoft Server Administration, VPN, various switches, routers and firewalls, [Excellent communication and organization skills.

[Work is primarily performed in a manufacturing office environment requiring the ability to sit, talk, hear, frequent walking, standing, and sitting; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
