SAIC Software Automation Test Engineer in REMOTE WORK, Texas

Description

SAIC is seeking qualified Software Automation Test Engineer for a REMOTE job opportunity supporting the US Air Force Agency for Modeling and Simulation (AFMS) program.

All candidates MUST POSSESS IAT LvII Cert (ie, Sec+) and Active Clearance.

AFMS is the premier agency responsible for implementation, integration, and development of Modeling and Simulation (M&S) and training and analysis standards that support the US Air Force (USAF), Department of Defense (DoD), and mission partners requiring these capabilities to support the Warfighter in full-spectrum operations.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Emphasis on knowledge of UI testing and test automation tools (must be adept at Selenium open source).

  • Work within a SAFe Agile Team to plan and develop automated test scripts to support the integration testing requirements of the teams you support.

  • Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated scripts using the program's tools and frameworks to validate the integration and functional requirements of the system.

  • Experience creating and maintaining automated scripts using Selenium.

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts to reduce repetitive manual testing.

  • Experience in an agile testing environment including Test-Driven Development (TDD).

  • Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.

  • Experience with Selenium, Java, TestNG, Maven, Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA.

  • Experience developing automated test scripts using Java or other programming languages.

  • Develop and automate tests for software validation.

  • Hands on with SQL Server/MySQL/MongoDB.

  • Detect bug issues. Prepare file defect reports and report test progress.

  • Exposure to AWS Cloud Platform.

  • Work closely with software developers and software quality analysts to resolve issues.

  • Experience working as part of a team, ideally using Agile methodologies.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • DoD 8570 certification in IAT Level II certification or above (Security+ CE, CASP+ CE, CISSP, etc.)

  • Must be US Citizen and currently possess an active Secret clearance.

  • Bachelor's and 9+ years or more experience; Masters and 7+ years or more experience; PhD and 4 years related experience; or relevant years of experience in lieu of degree.

  • Familiarity with testing tools.

  • Knowledge of diagramming software.

  • Extensive knowledge of engineering and testing procedures.

  • Good problem-solving skills.

  • High-level technical writing skills.

Target salary range: $135,001 - $145,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
