Providence St. Joseph Health Service Engineer II IS, SEO Regional Service Owner in Redmond, Washington

Description An SEO Regional Service Owner (Service Engineer II) is responsible for providing Regional support for all Providence locations in their assigned region. They are accountable for the service delivery of all IT spaces (MDF / IDF) in the Region in a manner that promotes and supports Providence's mission, values, and philosophy. Service delivery includes supporting daily operations, ensuring infrastructure uptime, coordination and delivery of approved deployment projects, and 24x7 response to critical infrastructure/facility alerts. Service Engineers work in partnership with developers, testers, and program managers, (typically early in the development process) to design, operate, grow, and improve large-scale, computer-based services offered to IS, non-IS and clinical caregivers. Their technical skills are on par with their Development, Test, and Program Management counterparts. Providence caregivers are not simply valued - they're invaluable. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering. Or equivalent education/experience. Related experience: 2-5 years preferred. Experience in automation, specifically related to deployment, recovery, or other manual processes. Experience with n-tier solutions Experience with resilience modeling (failure mode analysis) and ability to simulate service outages for point solutions (automated) and platforms (manually). Preferred Qualifications: IT infrastructure experience working in IDF/MDF/Data Centers and participating in the implementation of IT infrastructure projects. Experience in a Healthcare environment.
