Responsibilities

  • Uses ultrasound to visualize internal cardiac structures, obtain measurements of cardiac valves, ventricle and left atrium and visualize blood flow. Assists the physician with complex ultrasound procedures.

  • Promotes the smooth and efficient operation of the Cardiopulmonary Department through the appropriate utilization and management of all clerical functions within the department document handling and disposition, interpersonal relationships and information gathering and dispersion.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements :

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.

  • Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current required.

  • ARDMS or CCI credential required.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Completion of Echocardiogram program certification.

  • EKG rhythm analysis / interpretation certificate or equivalent.

  • Able to assist physician with TEE testing.

  • Previous experience in performing Echocardiograms of all ages.

  • Hospital experience in the Cardiology field.

  • Registered Echocardiographer.

  • Able to perform stress testing.

The current compensation range for this role is$34.29 to $47.46. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
