Responsibilities

The Clinical Liaison maintains administrative responsibility for the oversight of Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) on predesignated units assigned by the House Supervisor.

  • The Clinical Liaison will work collaboratively with the LVN, Clinical Supervisor, Unit Director/Manager, and House Supervisor to assist with tasks as appropriate and within their scope of practice.

  • Assists and helps to develop and implement departmental plans, including performance improvement activities and compliance with current federal and/or state regulations.

  • The Clinical Liaison assists, manages and/or oversees department(s) LVN’s.

  • The Clinical Liaison will assist Clinical Supervisors and/or Registered Nurse assigned to LVN to perform LVN physical assessment review and documentation upon admission, point of care (POC) tasks upon admission and throughout care, assist with changes in patient status, and assistance with the discharge process at needed.

  • The Clinical Liaison will communicate with staff, physicians, and administration both written and verbally.

  • The Clinical Liaison will report unit status to the House Supervisor.

  • Clinical Liaison is delegated task, within scope of practice, at the discretion of the House Supervisor and Director/Manager.

  • Performs direct patient care, as needed, within the scope practice.

  • The Clinical Liaison will be available as a subject matter expert for all nursing staff, as needed.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements :

  1. Current and valid state RN License2. Current BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.3. Current ACLS (AHA) 30 days upon of hire and maintain current for ER, ICU and Telemetry.

Preferred Qualifications :

  1. Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred. RN-C within 2 years of hire.

Pay Range: $42.00 to $69.03

The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
