Pay Rate:

$33 - $35 an hour

Amergis Healthcare is currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) for a one on one school nursing position! We are looking for nurses who are committed and passionate about having a major positive impact on a child’s life.

Responsibilities

• Provides first aid care and medically prescribed services.

• Corresponds with parents on health needs of children.

• Considerable knowledge of medical disorders, treatments, and child growth and development.

• Working knowledge of public health problems and procedures for treatment in coordination with other health and social service agencies.

• Some knowledge of the school organization and the community served.

• Ability to identify abnormal growth and development and symptoms of disease.

• Ability to develop and maintain health records on students and positive working relationships.

• Other Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Current Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) license for the state in which the nurse practices.

• One year prior Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) experience preferred.

• Current BLS card. (training provided)
