Dignity Health Teleradiology Physician (Night Shift) in Rancho Cordova, California

Overview

Mercy Radiology Group , a radiology group in the Sacramento region, is looking to add a Tele-Radiologist based in any U.S. time zone to augment our West Coast based tele service.

Position details:

  • Seeking coverage from 1a-8a PST (5am-12pm if EST)

  • Approx. 150 shifts/year

  • Must have CA License

  • Must be proficient in CT, MR, X-ray and US

  • Fellowship in Neuroradiology or Emergency Radiology desirable

Compensation package includes:

  • Competitive compensation and excellent benefits package including full health insurance, CME stipend, malpractice insurance and retirement plan

Compensation Range: $400,000- $600,00 / Year

Responsibilities

Patient Care:

  • Diagnose and treat various medical conditions.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.

  • Conduct thorough medical examinations and histories.

Communication:

  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

  • Provide clear and concise medical information.

  • Foster a collaborative and patient-centered approach to healthcare.

Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

  • Document medical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans.

  • Ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations.

Diagnostic Procedures:

  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging.

  • Perform procedures as needed

  • Collaborate with specialists for further diagnostic evaluation.

Team Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.

  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.

  • Provide consultative services to other healthcare providers.

Quality Improvement:

  • Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.

  • Review and analyze clinical outcomes for continuous improvement.

  • Implement changes to enhance patient care and safety.

Compliance:

  • Adhere to ethical and legal standards in medical practice.

  • Stay informed about healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.

  • Participate in quality audits to ensure adherence to standards.

Continuous Learning:

  • Stay abreast of medical advancements and best practices.

  • Participate in ongoing medical education and training.

  • Contribute to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines.

Qualifications

  • A valid and unrestricted California medical license

  • Board eligible or board certified in specified area of medical specialty (ABMS or AOA)

  • Completion of an accredited post-graduate training program

Pay Range

$188.00 - $192.00 /hour
