Insight Global Epic Clinical Trainer in Rancho Cordova, California

Job Description

One of Insight Globals largest healthcare clients is looking for a senior trainer who will be the training project lead for a hosting site. This person will coordinate with the teams on workflows, utilize instructional design for training scripts and materials, and coordinate with the hosting sites for training. The trainer will also learn the new Epic applications going live for the hosting site, and provide training materials as needed. This position will also facilitate classroom training, complete patient build in our training environments, and provide support during go-live.

Pay rate depends on years of experience/background but can be expected to be within the range of $50-70/hr.

Skills and Requirements

- Epic Ambulatory certification & Bachelor's degree

- 3 years experience in instructional design and development of learning content for various formats (e-learning, instructor-led training, blended learning).

- At least years experience providing training support including instructional design in a health care setting.

o Thorough knowledge of software, training technologies, and industry standard and practices involved with the design of training curriculum.

- Strong understanding of learning theories, instructional design models, and adult learning principles (e.g., ADDIE).

- Experience with project management principles, including development of timelines and ability to manage concurrent deliverables.

- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate productively, work in a team environment, and train to support users at all professional and technical levels null
