This position will be located at our Eaton Raleigh NC location and offers a HYBRID work schedule.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $112500.0 - $165000.0 a year.

What you’ll do:

We are looking for a DevSecOps Manager to join our Cloud Applications Group at Eaton. You will help us develop our predictive monitoring and management solutions for Industrial and Data Center applications as well as our global BrightLayer® Digital platform.

In this role:

  • Manage a team of developers and security experts to create, run, and maintain secure and automated processes for cloud-based applications.

  • Design and execute a DevSecOps plan to ensure security and efficiency in a cloud-native environment.

  • Promote the use of best practices and tools for cloud-native development, security, and operations.

  • Lead the development of automation and tooling to simplify the DevSecOps process, reducing manual work and increasing efficiency.

  • Work with cross-functional teams to find and fix security vulnerabilities in the development processes.

  • Track and evaluate system performance and security metrics to identify areas for improvement.

  • Advise and mentor team members to encourage a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

  • Organize regular training and workshops to teach the team about DevSecOps principles and practices.

Qualifications:

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering or related technical degree from accredited institution.

  • Minimum five (5) years of DevOps implementation and management of a production environment.

  • 3+ years of cloud infrastructure, deployment pipeline and DevOps platforms architecture.

  • No relocation is being offered. Only candidates currently residing TODAY within a 50-mile radius of Raleigh NC will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the USA without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years’ people and leader management experience.

Skills:

  • Containerization technologies (e.g. Docker) and orchestration tools (e.g. Kubernetes) work experience.

  • Infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar experience.

  • Observability solutions like Dynatrace or New Relic familiarity.

  • Good communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work well in cross-functional teams.

  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve complex issues in distributed systems.
