Senior Model Based Systems Engineer/Architect

JHNA is currently seeking multiple talented Senior Model-Based Systems Engineers/Architects to support our government customer located in Quantico, VA

This position requires for the candidate to be within a commutable distance from Quantico, VA as there will be 3-4 days of on-site support/presence required for the role.

Roles/Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to CDD Divisions and Capability Portfolio Management (CPM) functions. TheMBSE/DODAF Systems Engineer will analyze requirements, resolve issues, draft documentation, and provide recommendations. Provide systems engineering expertise; assess and develop tools and methodologies that improve the DoD Architecture Framework (DODAF)) modeling process. Establish and maintain data libraries, establish and maintain a high-confidence data integrity model with exportable content and open systems structure, and conduct DOTMLPF-P assessments of candidate solutions. Provide expert recommendations of impacts. Support the ACE Division advocacy and Warfighting Enterprise Programing Team (WEPT) functions.
• Duties include performing technical analyses related to requirements definition, software and hardware design, functional as well as reference architectures, and integration and testing of candidate autonomous aviation systems.
• Provide systems engineering expertise to ensure effective integration and interoperability of autonomous capabilities and effector elements into aviation manned and unmanned platforms.
• Assist in the development of system performance metrics and technical performance measures used to verify achievement of capability objectives.
• Support Government personnel in maintaining quality assurance and configuration control of complex systems as they evolve over the life cycle of SandT programs.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 8 years of applicable engineering experience
• Minimum Education Requirements: Civilian Master's Degree, USMC Command and Staff Collegegraduate, or USA Command and General Staff College graduateMinimum Experience Required: Individual shall have recent (within 3-5 years) experience with theUnited States Armed Forces. This includes over fifteen years of active duty military service or civil service within a United States GovernmentExecutive Department (or combined service in two Executive Departments for a total of fifteen years).
• Candidate must be a U.S Citizen and have Top Secret SCI eligibility/access or confirmed eligibility by CentralAdjudicating Facility to attain SCI access within 30 days of commencing support.
