The Building People On-Site Team Lead/Manager (TS Cleared) in Quantico, Virginia

The Building People, LLC, has a position open for a full-time On-Site Team Lead/Manager with a active Top Secret Clearance for a facilities engineering program to support a federal Agency. Individual will provide coordination and direction to the entire contract team.

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Will lead project teams and will plan and manage assignments of lower-level employees.

  • Will keep COR, CO, and relevant leadership (UCs) informed regarding team members projects and administrative needs/items.

  • Will keep track of and keep current all team member’s Visit Access Requests (VARs).

  • Will track and resolve administrative items for their team.

  • Ensures all projects remain on schedule and issues get effectively resolved or escalated.

  • Facilitates regular meetings to review project status for active and pending projects.

  • Collaborates with contractor team and FBI to develop solutions and leads project team through implementation and completion.

  • Responsible for reporting status of individual and groups of projects and programs.

  • Provides appropriate levels of detail and summarizes complex issues succinctly.

  • Manages internal and external relationships in support of program.

  • Provides consultation on all projects assigned to the contractor collective team.

  • Creates, maintains & distributes routine reports.

  • Serves as a point of contact to FBI and escalation point for any staffing, bandwidth, or delivery issues.

  • Provides assistance such as technical guidance and training to coworkers.

Qualifications and Education Required:

  • Active Top Secret Clearance

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from 4-year College or university.

  • Minimum 10 years of related experience with construction, architecture, engineering related fields.

  • PMP (Program Management Professional) or PMP (Project Management Professional) certifications preferred.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.

  • Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous service to customers.

  • Ability to effectively present information.

  • Requires advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles.

  • Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents.

  • Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations.

  • Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.

  • Strong negotiating and decision-making skills are necessary.

  • Demonstrated ability in project management processes, tools, and techniques.

  • Ability to build and maintain effective professional/client relationships.

  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite including MS Project.

  • Decisions made with thorough understanding of procedures, organizational policies, and business practices to achieve general results and deadlines.
